Mount Učka is located above the Opatija riviera, dominating the skyline of the entire area and dividing the Kvarner region from the central Istria. The Nature Park covers an area of 160 km2. The highest peak of Učka is Vojak (1401 m).

Its stone tower offers the experience of one of the most stunning panoramas in this part of Europe and a breathtaking 360-degree-panorama of the entire
area, from the islands of the northern Adriatic to Istrian peninsula, and when the sky is particulary clear you can enjoy even the sights of Venice and the Alps.The nature park of Učka is also a place of a particulary reach flora and fauna. It is the rare places where you can watch griffons or golden eagles. Učka Nature Park has two educational trails, and there are total of about 50 hiking trails and 8 mountain-biking trails marked, with more than 200km in length.
